Le Corbusier - LC4 CP - Cassina & Louis Vuitton
Cassina heeft in samenwerking met Louis Vuitton een "limited edition" van de chaise longue ontworpen door Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret en Charlotte Perriand gelanceerd. Vanaf midden januari kan je hem in onze toonzaal in Leuven bezichtigen.
Self supporting mattress: cover in leather “VVN” (Vache Végétale Naturelle), with insert in the footrest area in leather VVN (Vache végétale teintée “dark brown”). The leather mattress is attached onto the rear of the structure with a self supporting canvas and it is finished with a closing lining which is fixed to the chrome structure by means of springs. The seemless edges of the leather “Naturelle” are colored in red LV. The seemless edges of the “dark brown” leather are colored in dark brown.
Stitching: the stitching on the leather parts in Natural color is in yellow LV thread. The stitching on the leather parts in “dark brown” is in dark brown LV thread.
Structure: polished chrome plated structure, base in basalt color.
Headrest: the cover and laces are in color dark brown. The stitching on the dark brown leather parts is in dark brown LV thread. The seemless edges of the “dark brown” leather are colored in dark brown.
Identifying marks Cassina: each piece of furniture in the “Cassina I Maestri” Collection is indelibly marked on the base and chrome frame with the signature of the Author, the “Cassina I Maestri” logotype and the production number which corresponds to the “Identity Card” (which bears the same number).
